Thanks to @foreverwithDara for the tip.
That is one of my greatest dream for the OPM (Original Pinoy/Filipino Music) to be able to cross over into Asia, really. That's why you know, I don't believe that K-POP in our country is a problem. It just happens that they're excellent. I watched them, just from their training, seeing them in youtube. Their dances alone, are too much like 20 times over and they are still dancing. Their rehearsals, and their performances [T/N: she means KPOP training and rehearsals especially for performances are excellent and she is amazed of how much time and energy are put or invested in it]
My favorite kpop (group) would be 2NE1. And of course Dara is a part of that. We saw her get started and her evolution also. Like WOW, 'if she can do it, we can as well'. We saw her when she was so raw and her eyes especially were filled of so much innocence it was exciting remembering it. And now looking at her, especially in music videos...BOOM! Her swag. Its like "woahhh where did she go?" [Referring to the innocent Dara].
She's there, a new version of herself. I truly think we can do it as well. I mean, those songs that we can't understand, we're singing it here. They can also sing, what they can't understand! (Laughs) I'm joking. But seriously, its a challenge for us OPM artists to produce music that is excellent as well. It's challenging. It is not something that you will do because 'ah I feel like writing this' but with this you know, you'd want to level up because that is how they are.
